If you have exhausted all reasonable efforts to keep your pet, SRAS accepts the return of any animal adopted from our facility or from residents who reside in Bridgewater or Manville.

All surrenders must be scheduled in advance and are accepted seven days per week based on staff availability and kennel/cattery space. Guardians who wish to return their adopted cat or dog should call (908) 725-0308. All animals require a completed History Form which is available at the shelter.

Keep your pet safe! By microchipping your pet you will ensure that they always carry owner information on them. It’s easy, painless, and inexpensive.

Behavior and Training Advice
Cat got you up at night? Can’t get your dog to sit? Not sure how to introduce your new pet into the house? Contact us for advice.

Lost Pet
If you have lost your pet, contact us right away with your pet’s name, physical description, and if possible, a photo. We will spread the word and do what we can to help return your family member as soon as possible.
